Submission Guidelines

To submit a recipe, you can email Jaidi and she will add you as a contributor.

You can post any recipes you want. Please be sure to follow these two simple guideline.

Please include the title of the recipe in the subject line, and only the recipe itself in the post.

Also, we would like to be able to divide the recipes up by the type. So please include labels on your recipes. Labels are put on your post at the bottom of the edit post window. Labels can be as simple as main dish or dessert to Chicken or beef or however you want to label it. Just make it easy for someone to find.

Applebee's Oriental Chicken Salad and Dressing

Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into 1 inch pieces
1 egg
2 T. milk
2 cups saltine or ritz cracker crumbs
1/2 t. garlic powder
1 t. pepper
1/2 t. salt

Combine crumbs and seasonings in a ziplock bag. In a separate bowl, combine egg and milk. Coat chicken pieces with egg and shake in ziplock bag with seasoned crumbs. Saute in frying pan coated with oil until cooked thoroughly.

Salad:
4 c. chopped romaine lettuce
1/2 c. grated carrots
1/2 c. purple cabbage
1 c. green cabbage
dry chow mein noodles as garnish- optional, but tasty:)
Toasted almonds- optional, but even tastier:)

Combine together and top with chicken, garnishes, and dressing

Dressing:
6 T. honey
3 T. rice wine vinegar
1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 t. dijon mustard
1/4 t. sesame oil

Mix and refrigerate for 15 minutes- then spread over salad and love it!
